Located in Vermont's "Northeast Kingdom" Island Pond is
known for its distinct four seasons. Spring brings forth a display of exciting colors and
new life. Summer allows natures ability to be fully expressed in a pristine setting. Fall
glows with a unique cover of brilliant colors. Winter covers the surrounding mountains and
village with a blanket of tranquility.
Island Pond, and the surrounding area offers breathtaking views and
a diversity of activities year round, including Mountain Biking, Camping, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting,
Skiing and Snowmobiling. If it is swimming, boating, sailing, or canoeing, Island Pond is
the place to be. With an abundance of fresh water lakes, streams and rivers, one will not
run out of things to see or do. While the Kingdom is 1.3 million acres in size, its human
population is extremely low. One can drive, hike or bike for miles and see an abundance of
wildlife. Moose and deer are prevalent and one should be watchful for them.

breakfasts, motels, cabins and campgrounds.
